 I normally grow tomatoes in my garden in containers and some in the raised bed lined with rail road timbers. I am trying some Spinach in containers this year.

This Year, I planted some traditional Red Big Boy tomatoes. and they are doing fine. I tried growing some tomatoes pots right next to the one in my garden. The tomatoes in pots seem to take alot more water and do not seem to grow as good.

 I also planted a variety of acid free yellow tomatoes. This variety seems to fair better in the pots as the tomatoes are not as big and they seem like they take less water.  These yellow tomatoes have a pretty good taste.

Next year I think that I am going to try some of the upside down tomatoes in my own homemade pot system.
